									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Biggest drawback on using a trolling motor battery for the DF is the introduction of noise or interference.  If you wanted to do that, I would lay the wiring out on the top of the boat first, go fishing and see if you get interference.  If not, go ahead and connect.  Also, you&#8217;ll want to adjust the wire size going to the depth finder and 360.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Generally, the front edge of the L bracket should be against the transom.  I would follow the &#8220;leveling&#8221; instructions above, set the boat to the correct angle, then place the L bracket next to the transom, against the JP in such a way that the transducer would be level.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I install them here at the shop, I place the puck under the mono-arm when stowed (be careful not to get in the way of the crutch).  I can usually run the power then to the accessory switch panel on the side.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Your problem is most likely going to come back to the batteries you&#8217;re using.  Either they don&#8217;t have enough RC for your current trolling style, or you have a bad battery in the mix that is going down prematurely under a load.  It could be a connection issue as Basscat said, but I think it will come back, one way or another, to the Optimas</p>
