I would like to thank Mark for helping me with my issue on my breakaway safety clip for my Lynx trailer DEXTER UFP XR-84. I had spent considerable time and effort trying to come up with this part and even posted on this site for help. One call to Mark and I had my part (and a spare!) in two days! Mark went out of his way to help me and I really…Read more

Is there any way I can buy part #23 the breakaway cable clip for this unit? Have called BassCat. They sent me to Dexter. Dexter sent me to McClain trailers in Houston. No help. William at Bowden Marine went out of his way to send me a cable ASSY that has a clip. But it is the “little” clip for a 60, not the big clip that the XR-84 requires. I have…Read more

Looking to add one of these to my ’19 Lynx. Anybody have any experience with these? I am a little concerned with the step being close to the bow and possibly getting some gelcoat rash from the step. On a windy day it could be pretty easy to get a little sideways when putting it on the trailer. Comments appreciated!

The BC original step and pole was a great idea but time has passed it by. Have a 19 Lynx. I am old and fat and the pole is WAY TOO SHORT to help me get in the boat AND with the graph(s) and TM they are hard to step over. BC, the longer pole would solve most of this.
