<li>I purchased a new 2018 sabre ftd this year  and my helix 7 console unit intermittently loses the numeric depth reading. It works for a while then either completely disappears or shows 0.1 on the screen, which then tricks the screen to think it&#8217;s that shallow. It&#8217;s done this since I bought it in February of this year and acts up on auto as well&hellip;</li>

Leave it on empty until you&#8217;re ready to fill it, then switch it over to auto which will close it, keeping the water in the livewell. Turn back to empty when you want to drain the livewell. Not sure if yours has a pump out livewell option but that shoots the water out of the livewell too.
