One was a shallow bin the other a deep bin.  It depended on where you had the power pole pumps placed. If they were under the bin area, then the shallow one would work. I had my pumps moved back out of the way, and Sherm got a deeper bin for my 2015 Caracal.</p>

Wires pull apart as has been mentioned. The trailer is the same width I am certain. (Approx 102&#8243;) The length of the rig on the trailer is a bit shorter, but again, I have no measurements. I just don&#8217;t see any reason not to use something Sherm and Mercury recommend for my outboard.  No more than it costs, compared to the cost of a new engine(which you can&#8217;t get now), I&#8217;ll stay with my DFI stuff.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have a 2015 Caracal. Rods that are 7&#8242; long will fit on the starboard side, but just barely. I usually keep my rods on the port side as there is plenty of room over there.</p>
<p>Not sure how many rods you could get in that center rod box, but no doubt you could get more than you probably carry in your boat, if you took the rod tube thing out.
