Replaced all at Mercury marine dealer, works great now. I want to jump from the battery direct to the solid blue &amp; green trim leads (see if trim will work direct) but cannot get the bullet connectors apart. Assumed they would simply twist and pull apart but appear to be stuck? Over the time I had it I tried 25&#8243; Tempest +, 25&#8243; Fury, 25&#8243; Trophy, first two were 3 blades and the Trophy a 4 blade. Last prop and best all around I had on it was a 25&#8243; Mark Croxton Razor 3 with double cup. Is it better to run the larger wires instead of trying to match the size to the units power cord? I&#8217;ll check to see if I can feel the cut out sections in the gunnels in the rod box to just tie too.</p>
