<p>They need to be connected via NMEA0183.  The power wire from graph should have a brown, blue pair of wires for NMEA0183.</p>

<p>I have done it on a P2 and a sabre ftd.  Both boats have the hatch cover under the TM.  They have a 1 and 1/4 in hole in the middle of the hatch (used a 1 1/4 in hole saw on the plastic).</p>
