I do still have the 26p trophy plus, 24p fury 3 will be too small for me. You are more than welcome to run this prop. Maybe we can work something out. I’m in the Shreveport area, but have family in south LA.

Thanks old-timer, I measured the temp at the cylinder heads, right were the temp probes are installed. The two agreed within a degree or so. I sure hope its the poppet valve, the mechanic did say he had an issue installing it. Hopefully I will know soon.

Has anyone tried a 25p fury 4 on an older classic. I was wondering if it handles better and has increased hole shot over the 25p fury 3.

Two new thermostats, water pump and housing, plus a new poppet valve. It is going back to the mechanic today, he believes it is the poppet valve. We will see.

I recently had a 3.0L 200 hp efi rebuilt. Runs great, but overheats after shutting down. It has new water pump and housing, poppet valve, etc. It only happens after I’ve been idling awhile. Thanks, I have a 26p trophy but I bought it used. The previous only had extra cup put into the blade. I think I should have it reworked to original shape. The extra lift seems to make the rear loose.

Thanks. My 26p fury was money until I added the ultex and talon. Hole shot suffered, but not bad. I think a 25p will be what I need. Just can’t decide between the fury 3 blade or 4 blade. I don’t mind losing top end for better hole shot and handling if the 4 blade can do that.

I recently had my 05 200hp 3.0L efi rebuilt. It only had 220 hrs on it, injector failed, which melted a piston. The mechanic said the crank was also bad, which he believed to be from lugging the engine. I mainly ran a 26P fury. The 26 fury still does great but I don’t usually run it at 70 mph.
