I don’t have a lot of time on my 4 stroke Mercury. Mine came with a Bravo 1 ,4 blade 25 pitch. I am purchasing this prop in a 24 pitch for a better hole shot. There was another thread not too long ago about the props for the Caracal in which somebody ran the 25 pitch in winter and the 24 pitch in the summer.

I pulled my trolling motor pedal, remove the access plate and found that the drain in that area has a tube on it, but it was just curled up in the area and not down the center drain. I removed the drain, placed the tube where it should be and reinstalled the plate and pedal. No…Read more

spbait,

Remember that the trailer moves forward when you stop and that movement applies your brakes. When you accelerate from a stop it is the trailer moving backwards and that is where you hear the clunk. This is working correctly. Try taking off slowly as you can and you might or might not hear the trailer slide back.

I had a 98 P2 and the transducers would shoot through the hull. BUT I hit a stump and when I had it repaired it would not. As long as you have not had any repairs done in that area you should be just fine.
