Not sure how long you’ve had the boat or if it’s always been configured the same way, but my assumption is the twin poles are slowing you down though they shouldn’t be inhibiting lift with a passenger. Your slip is good at that speed, rpm and that prop according to calculator, so don’t think you have an issue currently. I’ve run a Tem…

2011 Sabre FTD with 150 pro xs, dual blades, most of my heavy stuff behind the seats- I’m barely touching 60mph @ 5550rpm and 23P tempest plus. prop to pad 4.1″
Bow doesn’t seem to have any lift. If I have a passenger I was hitting 50mph, but couldn’t trim any more or I’d loose water pressure.

I have a 2011 with 150 pro xs, with dual power pole blades hanging off the jack plate. I imagine my weight total would be the same as the new 4 stroke. I run 60mph.

The new sabre ftd is sold with the 175 4 stroke, and I don’t believe hulls have changed in the time.

I hope not, I have a new trailer on order. I did upgrade to an additional coat of protectant.

My old trailer is 12 years old and has some rock chips, but nothing major for the amount of trailering I’ve done.

I do run rock tamers.

I should have specified. I’m seeing around 15psi wide open, drops to around 12psi as I add trim. I stopped adding trim when pressure started dropping.

I could hear the motor as water pressure dropped, and rooster tail started shooting above the cowl.

New owner 2011 Sabre FTD with a 150 ProXS, 23P tempest plus, and dual Blades. Old boat was an 18′ Champion with a 150 and I would run it to full trim at any speed and it ran great.
