I am blown away that BassCat would respond, and I say thank you once again. This really is a class act!

I did know that BassCat was expanding because I spoke to a secretary from there who mentioned this some time ago, kudos to all the staff at BassCat.

Hello BassCat fans, I would like to add my two cents in regards to what I’d like to see BassCat change/add/innovate.

First off you should ” spank (correct or encourage) the one you love when something is wrong” I say this because I see some glaring changes that will enhance and update the line up. I am NOT bashing but rather SHOWING and TELLING…Read more

I am going to try Amsoil after my Mercury blended oil is gone. I talked to a marina on the Ohio PA border who sells it and he showed me some eye dropping results in regards to lubricity and cleanliness of the internals of the engine.

Also he says if you have an E-tec and use xd100 oil…Read more

A big thank you for all the input. I too use 100% synthetic in my vehicles, I used to have a Dakota V-6 with 130,000 miles years ago that needed intake gaskets and when I took off the manifold and valve covers I was shocked as to how brand new everything looked. I contacted a friend at a boat dealer today and he said Mercury synthetic blend was…Read more

Thank you so much for your information Midnight Rider!

I want to start by saying that I will be buying a Bass Cat boat and I never had any doubt about the quality of their boats, never. I enjoy the “Mom and Pop” feel even after they were sold, the videos are captivating about the boat making process, especially “From Buckets to Boats”.

As an update to this “weight” issue I contacted Dallas from BCB and he returned my call and was looking into this discrepancy in the brochures over the years. He stated the hull weight listed should have included the weight of the outboard motor in his opinion.…Read more

Huh??

I am reminded of the old Lost in Space tv show robot when he says, ” that does not compute” lol

I really thank you for answering my post but I respectfully disagree because in their same 2019 boat catalog they are listing the following weight for the Margay, 17’7″ with a 90″ beam at 1250 lbs. How does a shorter and narrower boat weigh…Read more
