I think those are isolated cases and BCB will have them corrected. I have one of the first ones and it fits to a “T”. Just towed boat 12 hours up to 80 mph and not one scuff mark anywhere.

Who will come on line and say ” the problem is cured”. Order your cover and we guarante a fit. After all its $1,000 bucks! I want one but, trust me I wont order one until either BCB or the manufacturer gaurantes a fit, hopefully on the first try. Sending a cover back and forth is not a lot of fun!

I was one that had posted about my Sunbrella cover and possibly not fitting correctly. The problem resolved itselt. The cover is a very tight fit like a good glove. It will stretch a small amount and will fit great. I have pulled my boat 4 times with cover one without a single issue. I think that the many of us expected a cover to fit like we have all been used to seeing with slack on the edges that needs to be tightened. This cover isnt like this. It fits great!!! As you get used to putting it on and off, the time gets shorter and shorter. Its a great cover and you will be very satisfied.

Mine is on a PIV. Here is a pic with it “loosely fitted”. When we put the support pole at the passenger seat and then torqued down the ratchets it is a tight fit. This is the gray aqualon material.

Greg, We should be able to order your cover through Parts in the new Sunbrella Supreme cover. There are differences and Aurora does not have those cataloged on how to fit them up, thus the order through BCB.

I recently purchased the new Sunbrella cover for my 2012 Eyra. It fits like a glove, but I have not tried using it with the posts that came with it. Maybe you folks that have had yours a while can save me some time and grief by answering a few questions. I realize that the posts snap into cover but where do they rest on the deck after installation of the cover? It would seem logical to have them designed so they fit into the holes for the front and rear seats. Do most have to be cut to fit? Do you tow with the posts installed? Thanks in advance.

I dont even use the poles. Though I dont use mine for storage. Simply unroll the cover on top of the boat from front to back And attach the straps to the motor bracket. Tighten tight and you should be good to go.

If you are storing outside you will need the poles and you may have to cut them to fit. The tenting of the cover will hold water outside. BCB

A dumb question, but does the cover function normally while towing at highway speeds without the poles? I dont need mine for storage.
