We dont mow if Dupo has a Caracal or not though we do believe they have one just received. The factory built some stock units though not enough to supply all dealers that did not order. BCB

The Caracal fully tournament loaded is a 70mph rig. Thats gear, gas, two men, live wells full. I think it fishes better than any boat Ive owned. It has a unique nose down attitude while fishing that you dont notice as much in others. You are closer to the water.

dbasketman does your Caracal nose come up while running? I just had mine out today and it seems to just kind of plow through water compared to my old boat no matter the trim angle. I have a fury 25P for a prop. I just wonder if that the way it feels or do I need to play with adjustments?

There are so many variables in load, engine height, prop, vent plugs, etc,,,, hat I actually put a hydraulic jack plate on mine . Im still playing with it, but I have two ten gallon auxiliary tanks, and have the boat now that holeshot is good, top end is 70ish loaded/2 men/live wells full, and good lift. My boat likes the engine low on the transom. These are big boats, and for their size run really good.The answer to your question is in set up, it should have lot of lift, and not plow water. I suspect your engine is too high.

Its something small/simple. What prop is on the boat ? Check plug on front unit and make sure transducer is connected fully.

Then come and put it where I was told it would be when I ordered it. Ivan told me before I bought it I would get it delivered and set up ready to run. I didnt buy it to adjust it and work on it. Not trying to be a creep but you buy a boat and….

We understand 88 nascar, though we have no way to adjust each boat to your load and propeller, engine, hull and differences. They are set up within a window we find applicable, though not exactly. We have had to move some up to an inch after operation and loading. We are not shirking responsibility, though we are asking that you contact your local selling dealership and they move forward to assist you in handling this set up. If the steering is not operating that is one thing, though if it is hard to steer under power and not when on the trailer that is engine height. We have no way to find each engines required height without operating those individually prior to delivery. These are all questions we need the answers to and we will be glad to work out your issues. There is nothing in it, me and ten gallons of fuel and this is in no way hydraulic steering at any speed or any load. I have contacted the dealer but am in no way pleased about the boat I bought that I cant use. This was a huge purchase for me and I have spent my last hour away invested in looking, ordering and picking up a boat that does not operate as it should in that many trips.

Probably looking at a good 6-8 weeks right now Im guessing on build time. Where are you located? Certain dealerships only offer certain engines but Basscat will make one with any engine on it

best talk to your marina and adk them, sometimes they may be able to get an engine but not able to do warranty work on it.

Cougar FTD models are a bit further behind, though 8 weeks is top end on a Caracal as of last week.
