Guys, I am looking at new boats and the Caracal has caught my eye. What is a ball park build time? Also I would like to have a SHO but the closest BCB dealer is merc, can he order one with the yamaha? Thanks
Got that on order, 13 weeks and counting, should run low 70s. Not as important as ride, storage and fishability. I will post when it arrives, if I live that long LOL
I have a Caracal already but it came with a manual I was hitting 71 had more but still learning to drive it. That is with dual PP and 52” Ultrex 36v so 4 Batteries. I’m having a Atlas put on it now was just trying to get some ideas on where guys was running it for best numbers.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I also have the Sho/Atlas combo on order. I mainly got the hydraulic plate to compensate for the various lakes and partners that I fish with. One guy around 175# and another at 400+. Much easier than adjusting the maunual plate all the time. I’m hoping to get my rig soon as well. I’m at 20 weeks and counting.
I came out of a Cougar FTD with 2 poles and 4 batteries into a Caracal with the twin rear tanks and 2 Talons. Hole shot is better than my Cougar was and rough water ride is excellent. I really appreciate the underseat storage and second cooler also! Speed with full load 50 gal fuel 4 batteries, Ultrex and lots of tackle is 72-73 with 2 people. The Caracal is an awesome layout and all of my co-anglers have positive comments. Love that wide deck! The step two the front deck is a good height for an easy move around in the boat.
