Anybody have a Margay close to New Jersey? Would like to look at one before I pull the trigger. A ride would be really great 🙂

If you keep a boat for several years then we really like the new four stroke engine. Otherwise its all your preference.

We lock speeds in around 45-53 for Margays with 115 engines.

Which motor pushes load better Etec or ProXS and which one faster? If you have had experience with these two on boat.

In my experience NO 115 can keep up with the 115 Etec H.O.

Spend the extra money and get the 150 hp 4 stroke Merc. I have one on my Margay and am very glad I got it. Runs ~ 68 m.p.h

gcopple i just traded my 2012 margay about 15 hours on 150 four stroke dont know if you would be interested the boat is in tennessee at ranger dealer my phone is 931-801-0667

like others said if you want to keep the craft without motor issues for years Id look into Honda or Suzuki as there the same engines in their cars. Nothing to get excited about but your grand kids will enjoy the dependability when the inherent the boat they learned to fish from.Practice Angling CPRCatchPictureRelease2010 PIV 200SHO

Pro XS or Merc 4 stroke, You will be happy either way and performance differences will be small. I would not have anything but Black on the back of my boat. Merc dealers easily outnumber all the others, and that means service is closer 99% of the time. There is a reason for that Dan
