My 26″ pitch Fury is in need of some minor repair. While having that work done, Im considering adding a blue print and balancing job. Any recommendations on a person/shop to use. Phone numbers and web site address would also help. Also comments regarding the before/after performance of the blue print work. Thanks in advance.

Contact Steve at Steves Custom Props on Lake Fork. He is great and will give you a realistic expectation. What do you mean by “gain”? Top speed, hole shot, or what?? From my experiences, a custom worked prop will provide an extra couple of mph top end but as Rich Stadler stated, your load and motor height will affect performance more.Good luck!Scott

I have the load and motor height dialed in as much as humanly possible but I still want more. I would like to keep the hole shot the 25 Fury is going to give me but add a couple mph on the top end. Is that possible? Is there any other motor mods that can be done without voiding the warranty to get more top end out of it?

90 I would take mid 70s with two guys and a tournament load…in summer…full fuel and live wells…

Those speeds are probably not going to happen but I guess it just depends on what you call a tournament load as everybody has a different opinion and also what you and your partner weigh.

Mid 70s you may see in the cool weather with a lighter loads, but not gonna happen loaded down in the heat. If you can hit 72 loaded down in the summer then youll be cookin!!

I have not actually measured prop to pad. But really should . This is where I had found it to perform best before I sent it to him. I felt like the prop needed a lttle tweaking. When I talk to him he said it probably needed a little cup and balanced. Before I had got 71 with the gps. The little extra lift helped it. Thought it was squirmy at times. I have know trim gauge so it all by feel. Keep in mind the boss was with me so I was not staying with it long.
