Redngoo wrote:MeanV2 wrote:Where is your jack plate set? How was performance before Ronnie worked on it?Dan Dan I have a atlas hydro. All I really know is 3 on the gauge. Or 1 1/8″ on the ruler on the plate. I have not actually measured prop to pad. But really should . This is where I had found it to perform best before I sent it to him. I felt like the prop needed a lttle tweaking. When I talk to him he said it probably needed a little cup and balanced. Before I had got 71 with the gps. The little extra lift helped it. Thought it was squirmy at times. I have know trim gauge so it all by feel. Keep in mind the boss was with me so I was not staying with it long. But was loaded with fuel and my gear.If you get a chance to measure prop to pad that would be great! If not thats Ok. I know it is a busy time of year and that Crappie Fall bite is tearin up here. Just about got the freezers full. I will probably end up sending my prop out to Ronnie also if for nothing else but balancing. I know even that can make a difference. How long was turn around on it?Dan
Mine fall bite let me down yesterday! Though some are catching some nice fish just not big numbers. But theirs alway next time. I get that measurement for you.2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury

I sent Ronnie my 25 Fury and explained to him what it was doing (plowed the bow) unless I was hard on the throttle. When I got it back the performance is amazing! It no longer plows but picks up the bow easily, loosens the hull up and makes it a joy to drive in the mid range throttle settings.BrianBrianHAWG Hunter2013 BassCat Eyra2013 Mercury 250 Pro XS Gen2 L/U
