Theres two or three different maps out there. None of them are very good in my opinion. One is a Hot Spot/Hook n Line and another is an AID Associates map. I think there is another, but cant recall what the name of it is. If you have a GPS with a map youll be just as good. If youll send me an email before you get ready to go, Ill help you out with whats working and whats not and where to go. Pretty easy to find good community holes with plenty of fish and at any one time there can be at least a handful of different ways to catchem. philaddison@comcast.net

The best map for Sam Rayburn is the multi page Lakes Illustrated – Structure Graphics map. Goes the same for all other lakes they have maps to. Most in Texas dont use structure graphics as they are difficult to come by. BCB

Guys, thanks for the info on the maps, Ill check into those. Also for Phil, I saw on your site that maroon P4 in Wisconsin. Before I leave Monroe LA to check it out, how does that look for a deal? Any issues with that year Cat or the Opti. It looks like a cherry boat? Thanks Bryan.

Congrats! Anytime you place in the money is a good thing but especially on a lake you havent been on. I live on Toledo Bend and have only been to Rayburn twice but I really liked it. My Dad and I made a trip over in the fall and had a blast just fun fishing. We caught a ton of fish on wind blown points with rattletraps. The other time we were both co-anglers in one of the BASS Southern Tour tourneys in the springtime. I was lucky enough to place in the top 15 and had a great experience. I think Ill be making a few more trips over that way in the future. Id like to make it to the McDonalds tourney there next year. Conroe aint perzaktly “slack water” guys ! Randy will know how to run rough water if he lives on Conroe, and why anyone would wanna go fish Rayburn is beside me ? And Phil outta helpabrotherout, he!!, hes showed half of east Texas how to catch fish over there ! He is however running outta spots.
