In April, 2019 we will converge on NW Arkansas where Bassmaster held the first Bass Anglers Sportsman’s Society professional bass fishing event. A lake where 106 anglers including Ray Murski, Shorty Evans, Rayborn Waits, Carlos Mayo and more cut their mark on bass fishing heritage June 5-7, 1967.

A tentative approval and reservation is in place for the Owners Invitational.
Northwest Arkansas and Beaver Lake will be host to the 32nd annual 2019 Bass Cat Owners Invitational. The event will be held out of Prairie Creek and Rogers, AR, this is a great family atmosphere.

We will all converge on Rogers, Arkansas for registration April 25th, with event dates of the 26th and 27th. Our host will be the Rogers Lowell Chamber of Commerce, with assistance of their A&P Commission.

Crystal Bridges Museum, Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville are all handy for those families attending. The Crystal Bridges Museum will leave everyone inamazement at the contribution Alice Walton, and the Walton family, made to their home town. https://crystalbridges.org

Northwest Arkansas is one of the most prosperous areas in the world. Business headquarters are many like those of Tyson Foods, JB Hunt, WalMart, Sam’s, George’s and more all settling in this Ozark community. There are so many developing businesses around that we couldn’t name them all. And don’t miss the historic A&Q Chicken House when your around Springdale. From our Presidents on down everyone who’s anyone in NW Arkansas frequented the restaurant.

Eureka Springs is just a few minutes north on the shores of Beaver and Pea Ridge National Battlefield will give everyone a piece of our Nations history with one of the few major Ozark conflicts during the Civil War.

This is also right down the road from Belle Vista, a Cooper Community. Our friends at Cooper Communities have long been supporters of Bass Cat. Being in their home town area and seeing what Belle Vista has to offer is neat. From the golf to the lakes Belle Vista has plenty to offer.

We chose NW Arkansas for our Bass Cat Family, to show more of our Ozarks beauty to all of the families. Your youth and spouses can definitely find a lot to do around Beaver Lake that week and we hope you bring them along!

I am a new Bass Cat owner. I bought a used Bass Cat this summer. How does this event work? How much is the entry fee etc.

The entry fees have not been established for 2019, though were $150 in recent years. It is open as an Invitational for Registered Owners and their guests.

You can transfer the warranty and join the Quest program by completing the form on the Quest Page here. Those purchasing a used retail boat from a dealership are automatically joined to Quest, though individual transfers and promotional units are not automatic. Quest is the Tournament Incentive program and there is a $200 fee one time for the transfer.

If you do not wish to join Quest or transfer the Lifetime Warranty on post 2000 models, by paying the $200, then you can just have your name added to the serial number for a matter of record at no charge. You will not be eligible for Quest and the Lifetime Warranty will end on that serial number.

Any recommendations on places to stay in the Beaver Lake area? I have found a couple Tanglewood lodge and Coppermine. Any others?

Not many places on lake to stay; maybe VRBO in area, Rogers, Bentonville, Springdale hotels. Prairie Creek and Horseshoe campsites are close, Tanglewood and Coppermine are less than 10 minutes by boat.

Beaver doesn’t offer much on the lake. The resorts are not populated as other reservoirs as it is primarily a local use reservoir. They simply haven’t developed and you do need to do your Trip Advisor research on the resorts that are in the eastern area as some have edgy reviews. Most convenient is the Rogers area.

Where will we launch from? Can someone post a list of boat friendly places to stay near the lake?

Launch will be from Prairie Creek Marine. Closest places to look to stay will be Hotels/Motels in Rogers or Bentonville. Next closest will be in Springdale or Fayetteville which is 30 to 45 minutes from Prairie Creek with Fayetteville being the farthest away.
