What prop is everyone running with this set up. My new to me Cougar has a 25 trophy on it but it has been worked at one time so I dont know what it truly is. Got to run it for the first time this weekend in the Dumas pool of the river and love it but I have a little work to do w/props. Going up river w/ full tourny load and full gas tanks 2 people 5900rpms and 68.4 and was all over the rev limiter. I have not measured the motor yet, just looking for some ideas on what to be looking for.
Thanks for the help, I have a 26 trophy and tempest that I can borrow to try and would love to see what a fury would do, Another reason to run the boat soon, need to find the best prop.
I have a 06 Puma w/225 Pro XS. With a 25 Fury, it pulls 5800 rpms @ 73.7 gps. This includes all of my tackle and myself @ 240 lbs. The holeshot is incredible.
