I would keep the 25 for a spare prop. Some where down the road maybe have it checked and reworked if need be. Sounds like you were running pretty good with the 25 before you hit the rocks or whatever. I own the same rig you got. Best speed I have ever run in mine, (Believe me when I say that when I am by myself, I run a pretty light load) was about 75 miles an hour and that was running a 27 pitch trophy. If I were you, I might buy the 26 pitch trophy. That is what I run on mine and can turn about the same rpms you are turning and run a couple miles an hour faster. ( About 71 or 72, depends on the day, weather and water) Also sounds like your jack plate might be a little high as I run mine even with the plate but might could come up on mine just a little with some gain. I would rather run mine just a tad low though. To me it is worth the 1 mph to keep my motor just a little lower and I think the boat handles better this way all around.
