Hi all, ive been lurking these boards for a while.. I recently got into bass fishing about 6 months ago and have gotten bit by the bug pretty hard! My friend introduced me to BassCat as he owns a Cougar, I also have a friend with a Nitro Z7. While the Z7 is a nice boat the layout of the basscat boats ive seen are more my style. I have been debating on a New Margay or a used Sabre. I have found a 2006 Sabre for sale with a 150hp Optimax, its a pretty good deal and fairly priced from a Cat dealer in comparison to the ones ive seen on here and on craigslist.My biggest concern is the motor, any concerns with the following? This is a percentage of time in each respective RPM zone. There are 240 hours on the motor. 0-749, 38.75%, || 750-1499, 12.54%, || 1500-2999, 8.33%, || 3000-3999, 10.92%, || 4000-4499, 6.46%, || 4500-4999, 6.13%, || 5000-5499, 13.54%, || 5500-6200, 3.17%, ||Any feedback/insight would be helpful as this would be my first boat.
