mjm6, I ran a 27 on the same rig in cooler weather. Here is the deal in my opinion and you will get many. 27 is too much unless you have it worked on. Even in cooler water with T load and gas its tough…unless your prop has been worked. Go with a 26 and let your motor get to the RPM range it is supposed to. The Fury will work as well but on TVA lakes, I like a four blade to deal with Cruiser Wakes and wind. If you take out PVC plugs, you may improve some but the 26 is what BC recommends.
