Just went down to check the Puma and prepare to go to Beaver this weekend. I spotted two small oil / fluid spots on the floor directly below the manual jackplate. At first I suspected the tilt/trim. Further inspection found moisture and oil on each end of the SeaStar system. One end (passenger side of boat) is much worse than the other. Steering was fine last weekend on the water and seemed fine today on the trailer. Admittedly, I have not paid a lot of attention to the steering until now because it has always worked fine and that may be about to bite me. Has anyone else experienced this issue? My local service options are not the best and I am trying to get an idea of what I am looking at.
