We just got home about 5 minutes ago. This was our 14th OI. Loved it as much as the 1st one. Didnt weigh a fish, didnt win a prize, fished in the rain both days. Had a wonderful time with my grandson. This was his first time fishing. City boy from Los Angeles. He had some trouble learning to tie on lures but he did catch on. By the end of day one he knew that if you throw into a school of shad with a Pop-R, you had a good chance of catching a fish. He caught 8. All short by about a 1/4 of an inch. He also caught a Red Eye by the rock bluffs, Short too, but it was a chuck. He is excited now about fishing. Now that he is with us to stay, he says he will be ready for next years event. Hes had a little trouble, he really needed this to get a grasp on things in his life. I know you have all heard this before, but, God helps in mysterious ways. Thanks Ron, Jan, Rick, and everyone at BCB for putting on such a great event. Jan, my wife and the girls all loved the hunt. They wanted me to tell you they found some cute baby clothes for our 1st Great grand daughter that is due in 2 months. They will be in touch with you for the bib, when Amanda has the baby. Our family is already counting down for next year. They all had a great time, Thank you again.
