Im going to discuss an 09 Cougar Adv. Elite with a dealer Monday. Are there significant differences between the 09 and 10 model year that I should be aware of? Hull, options, or anything else? Im familiar with the deck layout, as I had an 06 CougarFTD, so that would be the same as the now, Advantage Elite…correct? Nothing may come of this, but I thought Id like to have all the knowledge of the boat before considering making a deal for the 09 as opposed to maybe ordering a 2010.
We cant think of any significant changes on 2010 models from 09 in that model. There was a price increase and perhaps a minor equipment change. The hull and deck are identical. Rod pads on passenger side panels and other changes besides that are so minor they are more like equipment differences. There could be a minor engine difference also.
Bill thats great that he is willing to take the Bay Kitty on trade, like you said he has a guy that wants a Bay boat, so that can work perfect…what colors is the 2009? Im thinkin a Charcoal, Starlight with remington steel accents for a 2010, 250 H.O. or Pro Xs, and like discussed make sure you put Everything you may want or need so that its all done efficiently, also Id look at anything that you may want customized, ram mount, flush etc. I have some unique color combos to make the Others Drool and be envious. Let us know what happes after Monday, I know if you go home with a 2009 Al will have your info changed online Before you make it back. Good luck sir and hammer them hard on pricing. Brannon
The 09 that Im considering, has a red gel cap, red gel bolt, black pins, silver metal flake sides, console is reversed so it is silver metal flake also. The boot is black. It sits on a gray trailer with red fenders. Very sharp rig!!
I love my 09 adv. elite. I have a 225 Pro XS hung on the back that is excellent! I am running 79 right now gps with the cooler water. Hoping to hit 80. I have nothing bad to say about my merc. But if I could at all possible have a chance to put a new 250 H.O on the back I would. But all in all I am absolutely pleased with my rig and wouldnt change a thing! You WILL be pleased!
Buddy when you have worn out that 2009 Beauty you can call me and we will get you set up in a H.O. Powered BCB….For some reason as Ive posted in the past once or twice (ha,ha,ha) the HOs really hook up good with the Bass Cats, actually you will see that in most cases….Im glad you got your situation resolved on the Pro XS a month ago…Bill did you trade in the Bay Kitty yet? Your 2009 option sounds unique and pretty all at once, a red, black and silver bass boat is a classic color. Zack needs a White 250 HO on a contrasting Puma FTD, im thinkin the same colors used in the white EvilRudes which is Red,Charcoal and Deep Navy blue for the script, just ideas for a Truly Unique boat….. Brannon

Brannon No trade Brannon. The deal fell through. Not enough money for my Baycat. So Im still looking around. But you know that.
