Hey Phil…Degray in the top 50 but NO DARDANELLE? Degray ahead of Conroe?Oauchita in the top 20 just behind Rayburn?Bowmans been on the Mtn Dew….Heavy.C.O.D. Jr. III

Oh yeah like Bull Shoals isnt as good as Degray?!#!@#@I almost fell on the floor and laughed my rear off.No way Bowman did that one.Id take Dardanelle over Degray just about any time.C.O.D. Jr. III

Although there were a few caught there last Sunday. Degray, Dardanelle, Arkansas River……………………Please pull the plug!

Just had to mention two of the top 5 lakes have shores here in the Empire state (Erie and Champlain). Both big bodies of water and probably one good reason why you are seeing more and more Cats in NY and Vermont.

From what I saw in February, Choke Canyon reservoir should be Much, Much, Much higher on the list than it is. Of course you can have one good trip just about anywhere you go. I laughed at this list. Having Rend Lake in S. Illinois on the list told me a lot about how the list was determined. Many good lakes left off the list in Missouri. Truman Lake and Stockton Lake in Missouri are better fisheries than Rend. Im sure other board members with knowledge of their area lakes could say the same.

The list was moderately politically correct in order to embrace geographic reader bases across the USA. Otherwise it would have been heavily loaded to varied areas of the country with hot spots of glory in between conglomerates of reservoirs. Texas has to be one with many hot spots while areas like Ohio would have voids till Erie was mentioned.
