12 Volt Outlet

There use to be a breaker near the courtesy light under the dash, but I havent seen one of those in a couple years. There is the breaker under the throttle near the master power panel. Other then that, it would be on the wire bus bar located in the bilge. Did they ever work or just dont work now? Are they tied into the rocker switch on the bow? Main power breaker on? These are power outlets and some standard cigarette lighter plugs will not work in them, which prevents putting a cigarette lighter in a plastic plug and melt down.

The previous owner of my boat burned the carpet in a very similar manner. At least it wont unravel. Interesting…. so this past week while out fishing I began using my usb charger for my cell and would charge my phone and Bluetooth JBL speaker, after my second trip I noticed the USB now no longer works, I plugged it into my truck and a message came up that the device was using an extraordinary amount of voltage to charge. Im wondering if the plastic USB charger is to blame. All the plugs worked and still work, but the usb adapter is fried. Thanks for the info. If you cant get up to aqua tech we can do some troubleshooting here at the house, let me know, Im over in plantation off Broward.
