175 Optimax on a 03 Sabre

I may be in the market for a new motor soon and are doing a little investigating I have found that my current 150 XR6 weights 30 lbs/dry more than a 175 Opti. I am assuming this motor will work on my boat but I think I will as the experts. Thanks in advance.

I had an 03 sabre with a 06 175 optimax. It worked great and super fast. I was running over 70 in it!!

There are several of us Sabre owners that are running 175s. The 175 Pro XS is a LOT of fun on a Sabre. You will be astounded by the amount of fuel you will save over your carbed 150.

I am looking at the reliability and the gas aspect. Im not really worried about the speed aspect as I am something economical and a WARRANTY!

You should gain 30% + in fuel savings over the XR6..
