I just went through the same thing last fall when I bought my 94 P2. Here is a couple things I missed checking at the time of purchase that I had to take care of when I got it home.Check for soft spots around the drain in front of the seat. I checked up on the deck but wasn’t paying close enough attention to the floor.Check out the super dash and make sure the LCD works and if everything on it is working. It was daytime when I looked mine over and didn’t think about it. The owner said it worked fine but when I got it home the LCD was out. The buttons all worked but I couldn’t read anything on the dash. I had to purchase the analog conversion dash. 400 to replace Check all the pumps out. That boat has 6 pumps in it. 2 for the bilge and 4 for the live well. Pump in, pump out, recirculator and aerator. 30-50 each to replace.None of these option are deal breakers but if you know about these issues up front you might negotiate a lower purchase price or you can at least plan on the repairs for when you get the boat home.
