****Sold out to Mike he decided to keep her himself*****This is our custom rigged shallow water practice boat. It has a re-enforced transom to handle a bobs hydraulic 6 inch jackplate. It has a 90 hp carbed Johnson with a new VRO (non oil injected) pump and runs great. We premix the fuel to avoid the weight of an oil tank. The seat covers are in great shape and the carpet was replaced a few years ago but does have a few stains. The livewell is controlled by a A10 touch panel with all new pumps and has handled numerous 25+ lb sacks of fish. There is one cranking battery in the back and the two troller batteries are mid-ship in a battery locker. There is a 3 bank 15 amp per bank charger that is detatchable to avoid the constant weight of the charger. The TM is a recently gone through Maxxpro 80 MinnKota Foot control with recess tray that will drag this boat through thick vegitation and timber easily. The Electronics are Lowrance HD5s with lake insight and both have gone through the water problems and are fresh replacements. The HDS5 has lake insights and is on console the HD5X is on the bow. The hull itself is in decent shape, I am not going to tell you its perfect. We are rough on this boat, in very very rough water on the left front we had a hull issue in a spot that it would “oil can” we had that braced and re-welded and it has held since. Before we had the transome knee-braced and re-enforced we cracked the top plates where many aluminum boats crack and we had that professionally welded as well. There are numerous dents and gouges on the bottom no of which are a problem on performance with the exception of a small dent that is a slight “hook” I am going to address that when I prepare her for sale. There is no other tournament legal prop driven boat like this in Texas that we know of. It is an awsome practice or fish finding boat especially in the thick slop. It is by no means a “pretty” Basscat but it is a Basscat nonetheless. It will run on plane in 9 iches of water and plow through silted ankle deep water. To see her in action watch for the upcoming Honey Hole Outdoors show that Mike and Bill filmed in the Ray Hubbard River earlier this week. I am sure many are wondering if its so great why would they sell it, well the reason is that I suffered a terrible arm injury in May(on the lake) and to be frank I need to cover some associated medical bills and something had to go, Mike was gracious enough to agree to sell her to raise some cash to help me out. If you are a solid tournament angler this boat could pay for itself. It has for us. SoldLast edited by Chris Tilton on September 20th, 2010, 7:07 pm, edited 2 times in total.
