Topic: 1st invitational and need rule clarification

I own aa Bss Cat and will be fishing with my brother, My brother in law also owns a Bass Cat and wants to allow two of his employees to fish the invitational. If he writes his approval/permission to BCB, can these employees fish in the coorporate boat with the registered owners permission? need to find out the answer rather quickly so plans may be made,( if the japanese can fish it, seems like the americans can fish it) with the owner and BCB approval. might sell a boat in the process…. thanks, Gary

We knew this would open up arguments, though we are having the Japanese as our guests to enhance the event, offer them a large event to compete in and hopefully add an experience for all. The event is not an open event, though registration will be required for those other guests. There is only one team competing as an invited guest. This is also due to the fact that low participation knocked the National Team Championship out, which they had qualified for. The Owners Invitationals have been owners only till this point. We do not check registration on boats at the time of entry, though we do verify ownership at the time of winning major prizes. We will request the state registration after the win, big bass, and the duck award, as well as boat drawing. BCBLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on March 26th, 2009, 4:23 pm, edited 1 time in total.

That was a very nice,,,,no. Tell brother in law to bring one guy this year and another next, and come have a great time ! The OI has always been an owner/guest, or family event, and to open the event would be, well, wrong, imho. BCB owes us no explanation, and only told us of this one exemption to be up front and forthright, as family should be, not to open negotiations or rule changes. Thanks for the heads up BCB ! Bring the guys on over the pond and well show them a grand time ! Bet they aint never had no stuffed porkchop before ! D.

No Argument here, just needed to know what the rules/policy was. If Brother in Law could come he would, but cant. One of the “guest” was a family member, but we will figure it out. Shouldnt have even made the comment on the Japanese….doesnt matter its your tournament and your rules. As For the post after BCB, I wasnt asking for negotiations or a rule change simply clarification. Perhaps it didnt come accross in the post as intended, have a great tournament and hold a chop for me….never had a stuffed one….. Gary

Gary, No foul intended, and youre always welcome at our “table”(chair/ice chest lid/ground/tailgate,etc,,,), and well throw some extra meat on the grille for ya ! Doug
