Fished the Big Bass Bash Tourney at the Ozarks over the weekend as a backseater in my buddies P-Classic and weighed in a 5.82lber for 5th in the 1pm-3pm time slot on Sunday. This was my 6th tourney and can actually say Im ahead thus far in entry fees. A shout out to Joey Watts at Flatlands Custom Tackle for the Spinnerbait that landed her. Also weighed in a couple on Saturday on one of his jigs as well, but just out the $ by ounces. With an hour and half left, I kept thinking of Ikes motto “Never Give Up” especially with this type of tourney format.

Good job!We was fishing the crappiemasters on saturday that weather sure did a number on us. I plan on fishing the fall big bass bash.

John, appreciate the phone call this afternoon and the heads up on the post. Not much time the past few weeks to get on this board much and this post must have slipped by me what few times I have. Congrats on the fish and appreciate the kind words on the spinner baits. Will keep the color and combo our little secret but is a pretty hot little color and sell quite a few of them.
