20 ft models

ok i had a conversation with a gentleman about the 20ft models , cougar,puma and eyra. putting the same motors on all of them , say 250 pro xs. will one boat out perform the other with same load , same gas , same person. across the board which one is the faster model. I think the eyra is but he seemed to think that they all run the same or close too. No stand out difference. What do you guys think

All exept the Eyra run about the same the Eyra from all report is quicker.

The word is that the Eyra is faster but if its much faster then your gonna need gearcase nods to prevent blowout.

Eyra is the word. Could depend alot on setup to. Fastest speeds i seen posted would belong to an Eyra with a SHO. I getting 81 out of my puma ftd ,2 poeple an 3/4gas + a average load.

Really the weight hasnt made any differance, same 1/4 gas an just me. That cool air sure is sweet. August in Alabama gonna smashmouth them #s. I must say again, ive had 3 other big name boats and my next will be another BASSCAT! My favorite part starts when the MinnKota hits the water.

Weight doesnt bother mine much either, but that heat and humidity does. Went out this morning and got 75.3 all over the rev limiter. I gotta run your 27.

I have an Eyra with 250 SHO.. and it is FAST!! Ive gotten 84.. and I have a lot of Gear in mine… I have yet to tweak the set up on the jack plate… I think I need to drop it down about 1/2 inch.I think they all run about the same… not gonna see to much of a difference.. but the Eyra will be a slightly bit faster..That SHO.. is AWESOME.. all kinds of Torque… I run a 26p Fury.

The Eyra is slightly faster on most of them, though some obviously will not perform as well as others. The potential of the Eyra is way above the other hulls if you decide to paly with it.
