200 HP on a 2007 Puma?

Just curious if anyone has ran a 200Hp motor on a Puma???Currently have a 250 and have NO issues with the boat or motor….just bored and wondering what a 200 would do on a Puma thats loading down with a full load? Not sure what fuel economy is on a 200 VS 250 but would assume that its got to be better.Thanks,Jon

I dont know how much better the fuel economy would be. My first instinct is that the smaller motor is going to have to work that much harder to move the weight, thus using more fuel.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

The engine will labor more and from our experience the fuel mileage will be very similar, or perhaps 2% more, than the 250 at the same speeds.
