I sold my TR 21 Triton last fall. Just bought this beauty…. I am new to the Bass Cat Boat , I love it so far…. It has a Laser II 23P on it now, seems a little lazy out of the hole. It seems that the prop is all “Bite” out of the hole with no cavitation…. But turning way to many on top end 6300 rpm or so. Otherwise Boat handles good, drives easy, lower nose is approx 4 3/4 inches below pad. Anyone running a good combination on one of these please let me know Thanks in advance Showdawg

We would suggest a 24″ Tempest, or on some a 23″ Tempest. We have seen some prefer a Trophy, though the 2.5 block does not generate much torque. Great Engine, just a little soft on hole shot. The P3 could use more cubes, though it will do the job with that slower hole shot fine.

what is the difference in a Tempest & Tempest plus???????? the ports???????

yes…the plus will have the ventilation ports that can be plugged or opened in combinations, thus giving you more options to improve hole shot and still get decent top end.
