Guys I have a quick question for you. I have a used (may have been worked on before) 2005 Cougar with dual axel and disk breaks (standard I believe) and just pulled the wheels off as Im about to re-pack the bearings etc. I noticed the calipers to be on the top of the axel??? Is this normal? Because there are other holes to mount the caliper either on the front or back of the axel Im a little concerned. Especially since the caliper on top of the axel is actually rubbing on the fender which makes no sence at all.
