Can anyone tell me how to get the centercaps off the 06 aluminum wheels to grease them.

From what I understand, we dont have to grease or perform maintenance for five years unless theres a problem. Isnt that right BCBs. Glynn

OK didnt know that. Looks you would have to take the wheels off to get the centercaps off. (without destroying them)

They do this because they dont want you messing with them except every 2 to 3 years…but saying that you need to keep an eye on them by feeling for heat that is the best way to tell when it is time to work on them. That would be correct, and more information is hidden in the FAQ Section on this. Though from 2 to 5 years on the trailer hubs should be good. The heat in the hubs will show up early, and you dont see folks on the board who have had bearing issues, which this is the main reason. BCB

Ditto on what the guys and Bcb have stated. Resist the old school urge to grease your hubs periodically. I listened and havent added a drop of grease yet. Ive owned my trailer since it was purchased new five years ago.
