If the 2006 is the same as the 2009 you will not be able to get the right side thermostat out without moving the fuel rack. I was able to get the left side off and remove the trash without moving the fuel rack. If you have to move the fuel rack, you need to make sure the racks are depresssurized. There is a valve (like on tires) on each rack to depressurize the rack. I was able to loosen the large nuts on the rack, without taking them off, enough to get the right side thermostat off and clean it. Then re tighten the fuel rack. To reprime the system, make sure the bulb is pumped tight and then turn the key in the ignition on (do not start) and leave on for a few seconds. I tested mine after repriming by running with the hose attached. I do recommend replacing gaskets, they were 2.00 ea.
