Several guys were right about the speedo not being overly accurate. The speedo last week showed 66-67 at WOT, but my I-phone GPS shows 71-72. Im waitng for the adapter cable to install the new GPS antenna, but I verified the phone is very accurate. Here is what I did before I went out. Previously I had 66-67 WOT at 5600 rpm before she got a little loose. Didnt get a water pressure number then. Yesterday I raised the manual jackplate about 1/8 to 1/4 inch before I left, which puts it about 3 inches below pad. The GPS showed 71-72, water press 20-22, 5600 rpm, 28P 4 blade Bravo 1, and no rooster tail. My best run hit 75, but I still have rpms to use and good water pressure. The hole shot remained unchanged (very good). What should my next step be for a little more top end, besides seat time.
