2006 Puma Fury Prop

Hey guys,Are any of you running a Fury Prop with a 2006 Puma and 225 Pro XS? I have the chance to buy a 25 Pitch at a really good deal. Irun a 26 Trophy now. It seems like I heard somebody say they had trouble loading it after installing a fury. I dont want to make it any harder as i have to find the sweet spot now to get it on the trailer. Will the motor need to be adjusted on the jack plate if I change?Thanks

Not sure on the 225 pro xs but on my 250 pro xs i run a 26 fury and it loads on the trailer great. I was told by K-Pink i could run a 25 fury and it would get out of the hole better and it perform good, infact he said he didnt see how i was coming out of the hole with the 26 that good. So i would say IF you get a 25 fury at a GOOD price get it anyway and try it. Someone else that is better with props will definitely churp in and let you know. One thing though is to make sure and have the prop checked first before running it.

I run a fury on my cougar, as i did on my Puma as well. I find the fury loads better, has better holeshot and for me better topend. Some say they get better topend out the trophy but not for me.

I have a 2006 Cougar with a 225 Pro XS. I have played with a 25 Fury, 25 Tempest and the 26 Trophy it came with. On this hull I like the 26 Trophy. Seems to run and handle the best. It is a little slower to load on the trailer but I never really had a problem. Just my 2 cents.

I like my 25fury. Just got it and have run it twice. Put a nice ding in it the first time out pulling phat people around on a tube. Oh well. Saturday I still ran over 77 straight into the wind. Holeshot is good, midrange is great and top end is fine. Great all round prop and its fun to drive. Mine still doesnt load my boat worth a crap, but few props have. No biggie to me. I like the performance while Im actually on the water.

Those numbers are out of a 225 or a 250?

Not trying to beat the dead horse, but I just got off the water and was reminded how fun the 25fury is to drive. This was my third time to run it and Im a big fan now. Hole shot is great, but the midrange is what I like. From 45-75 is just plain fun. The top end is better than I expected for a 25p. Playing around, my two boys and I got it up to 78.7gps with a little wind assistance. Bottom line….get one if you have access to a good deal.

I havea25 fury on 225 proxs 2010 puma no plugs in prop loads on trailer great , hole shot is great. Have a 26 trophy hole shot so so loading on the trailer sucks ,mid range is great , top end 3mph slower than fury 72mph trophy 75mph fury.
