A little more today. Not much longer and Ill be able to wring all it has out. 83 degree water, 91 degree air, 25-30 gallons of gas and empty livewells, full gear in boat. 26 Trophy @ 6000 rpm = 75.4 mph.
Youre going to need a bigger prop or drop it down in the water some to gain speed. Not bad now, but youll turn another 2-300 rpms when it cools down this fall and winter and youre already at max rpms. Get a 26 Fury or a 27 Trophy if you decide you want to play!
We suggest starting lower, then you can raise them based up on gaining a little bit of torque. The factory is looking for lots of propeller bite on this hull, because it does not have much torque unless it is raised excessive.
Actually going the opposite way. When received inner plate was 1/4″ above flush. Im now at flush and torque is still pretty much. Going to place inner plate at 1/4″ below flush. That would have me 1/2″ lower than where originally at. Was just wondering if you have experienced others that low??
