Here is a rough list of inventory we are aware of that we are sure these dealers would like to find a home for. This should help each of you in your decisions. We have had several calls in the Georgia and Alabama radius of that region. The boats in Alabama are limited and Abbott has a few that they would make someone a special deal on. There are a few isolated dealers in smaller communities with less traffic than others. There is some above necessary inventory at Skippers Boatique in Cadiz, KY, plus we have a bit of inventory at Tracy Boats (Mossdale) in California, we are not up to date on. We may miss a few that we overlooked, though overall this should get the bulk of the list. 2009 Inventory Raw listing:**Abbott Marine (AL): 256-845-0813Cougar Advantage Elite and 250 Pro XSPantera Classic and 200 Opti**Skippers Boatique (KY): 270-924-9881 Cougar FTD & 250 Pro XS Sabre & 150 EFI Mercury Pantera II and 200 Opti Bay Cat and 200 Opti – One of few Bay Cats**Bowden Marine (TX): 281-441-7773 Cougar FTD and 250 Pro XSSabre FTD and 150 HO Evinrude**Duncan Marine (MS): 601-992-1979Puma FTD and 250 Pro XS**Dupo Marine (IL): 618-286-5252Cougar Advantage Elite and 250 Pro XS2008 Cougar FTD and 250 Pro XS**Franzwa Marine & RV (NJ): 856-825-0111Sabre and 150 Evinrude Cougar FTD and 250 Pro XS**Mare Marine (MD): 301-898-3717 Cougar Advantage Elite and 225 Pro XS**Premier Performance Marine(LA): 225-647-6240 2008 Sabre FTD and 175 Opti Mercury2008 Sabre FTD and 150 Mercury**R & R Marine (TX): Pantera Classic and 200 Opti**Riverside Marine (TN): 615-847-4909Puma FTD and 250 Pro XSCougar FTD and 225 HO Evinrude2008 Cougar FTD and 250 Pro XS**Rockwall Marine (TX): 972-771-4442 Puma FTD and 250 Pro XSPantera Classic and 200 OptiSabre FTD and 150 HO Evinrude**Texas Boat World (TX): 254-699-9151Cougar FTD and (open BRP)Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on April 21st, 2010, 9:35 pm, edited 9 times in total.
**Riverside Marine (TN): 615-847-49092008 Cougar FTD and 250 Pro XSAny Idea what this boat above will go for? I will call them next week. (busy this week during daylight hours)Thanks,Brian
Steve would be very reasonable onit, though we dont have the numbers on cost here. So tomorrow someone might get us those numbers and we could IM you the thoughts on the reasonable cost. Then you and the dealer could discuss that.
A newb question…..If one of these boats doesnt meet our needs 100%, can we make modifications to it so it will? For example, can a deal still be worked out if a Sabre FTD at the dealer has single axle or certain set of electronics and I would like to have a tandem axle and upgraded electronics? I guess the real question is…….is it just best to order new to get exactly what I want? Thanks!TonyLast edited by CiK on March 3rd, 2010, 6:30 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Spoke with Steve,Super Super Super Nice guy that knows these boats inside and out. It sounds like an awesome boat and the colors are great. I told him that I dont understand why that boat hasnt sold yet. It might be a little out of my reach but…….If someone is looking for a Great Buy and color scheme this would be one to grab. I am planning on looking at it when I am in Nashville at the end of the month if he still has it. Regards,Brian
Tony, you can call to find out info about the boats you are looking at, to see what equipment are on them. But, the deals are going to be really good as they want to move them. Trolling motors may have some leeway, but a change in trailers will wind up costing in the long run. BC would have to build the trailer then get the trailer to the dealer . This may take time(weeks). Dont know that I would want to wait that long unless I was ordering new……… 96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
j&p, I think I agree. I am going to be pretty particular once I pull the trigger, but I have waited 37 years for a boat, a few more weeks wont kill me…….I think!
The fun part is getting the “newness” broken in……………….have fun and post pics when you can!96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
CiK Things can be worked out either way. We can change trailers if needed it just may cost a little more. We do have a couple of Sabre FTDs around at different dealers that may be what you want.
Give me a call when you get a chance. Mike
