We have given the dealers plenty of time after the “Excellence In Action 2010” dealer meeting to inform those at home of the changes to our programs. No doubt we are reformatting the way we are doing business. Last years Loyalty Programs were well accepted and we are enhancing those in 2010, we are also adding an Adoption program and several more. We have already stated here that we are pricing boats based upon the time of the season, and August is the best month to visit your dealer about a new Bass Cat Boat. September differences in price are significant and those months thereafter will see prices change every month. So the price on a BCB in 2010 may have a time limit for the price to be honored. Dealers should note that to you. There will be some questions by your dealers to make sure they qualify you properly in 2010. In 2010 the Loyalty Program is offered to a Previous BCB Owner(s) of Record. Meaning they must have been on record at Bass Cat, or have a registration with their name on it. It is also offered to a Direct Family Member of their Family, such as a brother, sister, parent, son or similar first branch of the family tree relative. No third cousins do not count, however Uncles and Aunts do though. This is an extensive increased discount on all models as Loyalty Owners through your Bass Cat Dealers. There is no rebate on this, just a flat price offered when you purchase with a significant discount that could range from $400 to the $5,000 amount as a benefit, depending on model, package and time of year. There are also three (3) special packages for Bass Cat Loyalty Owners as we had last year in the Sabre FTD, Pantera IV and Puma models. The return percentage of BCB Owners is by far the highest return owner in any boat statistically. So we are recognizing your Loyalty to Bass Cat Boats with a reduced price to show our appreciation of Owners, and their efforts for Bass Cat. You are all our best sales force, and deserve to be rewarded some for that. Also the Active Military Program is revised for 2010 models and the 09 and prior promotions for Military still are open for the units in inventory. We will make another post for Owners of other brands and those programs. As we do have a Adoption Program for owners of certain other products. Plus we have a first time new boat owner program. Which has three specific models in that program. We are pulling it out for 2010! BCBLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on August 13th, 2009, 6:13 am, edited 4 times in total.
Hello, I have a PIII 2000/ Merc Opti 2000 that I will sell for a 2010 PIV/Merc Verado 200. Didnt know if Loyalty program will still going on. Also wanted to know how much sacrifice I would be making on top end speed w/ Verado. I want to be compliant to all the lake laws. If you dont recommend verado, is there another clean opti or 4 stroke that you would recommend? thanks
1morcast, The Loyalty program is all year in 2010 and you can take advantage of it at any time. There is a discount for Loyalty, or there are special packages for this, including a Pantera IV Advantage Elite model. Pricing in 2010 is month based with the month of March being the highest price, and the August purchases being the best priced month, with the highest dealer discount. We are working to round out the year and stabilize production more, thus making it advantageous to buy in months that are slower. You can learn more by contacting Bass Cat or by visiting with your local dealership. BCB
Dear BCB, Thank you for your response. Can you tell me what seperates advantage Elite from from a regular PIV? I am looking to buy a PIV/200Verado combo by ~ early November because I will be in Asia for almost all of Oct. I am ready right now to put money into a purchase in addition to a trade if it will help get better pricing. However, I dont know of anymore BC dealers are in the central texas area. IE, Austin/Georgetown TX. Last dealership was Northcutt Marine. I will take your advice and also call BC tomorrow for more information. Thank you for your support, 1MC
1morecast: An absolutely great BassCat dealer in Central Texas is Cliff Brown at Texas Boat World in Harker Heights/Killeen, Texas. He is the dealer that I use and his service, professionalism, and sales staff simply can not be beat. Give Cliff Brown a call at Texas Boat World and I guarantee that he will treat you right. Corky Darnell
Corky has directed you to the closest BCB dealer in your area and they are dedicated to Bass Cat. The Advantage Elite has a few items different, such as Perko latches instead of Southco Stainless, a plastic horn, single bilge and a few other accessories that are an option. You can order Southco latches and add an extra bilge to get that part back on the Adv. Elite model. Otherwise go Premium and you have it all. There are the Loyalty discounts on each model and you just have to weigh out what you want on one verses what is standard on the individual packages. The pricing will be similar through November, depending on the ordering dealers program as those vary based upon volume. Though December order placements begins a new structure for all. BCB
Corky, BCB, thank you very much. I will reach Cliff Brown today. appreciate everyones help sincerely, 1MC
There is a Cougar FTD on the floor at Texas Boat World That Cliff will make you a heck of a great deal on. Be sure to aks him about it as well,
I just got a new 2010 Cougar from Cliff at Texas Boats and you wont find a better person to deal with. He really pays attention to detail and will treat you right. I would also recommend their service guys. They are very knowledgeable and are quite willing to answer any questions about your new boat. I would definitely buy from him again.
1morecast, You will absolutely love your PIV. I got a PIV Advantage Elite and would highly recommend it to anyone for any water. I have a 200HPDI on it and was out today with me and my partner. We hit 69mph in 71° temps on the GPS with 25 Fury prop that includes me at weighing 235 and my partner at 210, empty livewells, 17 gallons of gas, 17 rods on the deck, yep that right 17 rods with the help of Bac Rac (http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpage-BACRAC.html) and fully loaded with tackle.. I would highly recommend the kicker tank. Other then that electronics are personal as well as motor decision. Good luck and hope it works out for you to get a PIV you wont regret it.
