I have been wondering the same thing, id like to see it on Logan Martin this time, but Lay will work for me too. Plus Lay Lake would be closer if i wanted to travel up from Mobile, Al
I am not positive but I believe that it will be on Lay Lake again but there has been some buzz that Logan maybe the destination will try to find out for sure soon and post if someone doesnt post first. They would both be great but would like to see one at Lake Guntersville that would be a great one as well. They could probably still have the weigh in at the Civic center if that is what they want the driving time from Lay isnt much shorter it is still about an hour either way maybe closer to an hour and a half to Guntersvill depending on the launch site. They are exciting you get to meet some great people and the environment is great. I am stoked that they will be coming back to Birmingham it is always a great crowd and even better show with all of the events that are there. There are also alot of Cat owners in the neighborhood here, so maybe there can be a meeting there as well.
Except for the small fish the pittsburg classic was pretty cool also!!! who would catch the biggest 12″ fish!!! I was really surprised they did not find the 14-15 ” spots that are in the river.
Yeah for no more weight that was caught that was a great Classic. I wasnt there but heard that the turn outs were great and the event was well run. That was a little disappointing that the fish were so small but that just shows that they are human and dont always get the big one that everyone expects them to catch. I think it was good to bring them to reality.
