Just picked up a 2010 Jaguar w/ a 250SHO. It does not currently have a hotfoot in it so I ordered one and the adjustable mounting plate. I havent looked hard into it yet… Does anyone know what the smartest size of screws/pilot holes I should use for mounting the plate to the floor are? Will I need a different/longer throttle cable? I plan to install it with a friend who is quite mechanically inclined, but any information I could give to him would be great. Any help/tips would be appreciated. Thanks!John H.

Try calling Bass Cat parts. They very well may can answer these questions. I have a 2010 Jag, but mine came with the hotfoot.Britt

We do think a call to service is in order, and we also would be sure to set those screws in resin when they are inserted. BCB

Looks like theres no place to run the hotfoot cable without drilling a hole w/ a holesaw. Anyone have a dimension or picture of where theres is drilled? Im using a regular Hotfoot, not the Pro. I have had both and didnt like the Pro as much as the standard model, so I need the cable to come at the pedal from the front versus on top. Also… I need a 2 longer than stock throttle cable, which to me looks like it needs to be an 18 cable. Can anyone confirm for me that the correct cable length is 18? Im torn between 18 and 19… I dont want 19 if I dont need it, but also dont want it to be too short. Any help would be appreciated until I can get back in touch with BCB on Monday. Thanks!John

We thought it was a shorter cable though we cant remember. There is a stamp on your cables in the boat. Also you drill in the corner of the side panel in front of the seat pan for the cable to run.

[email protected]!I cant find anything stamped onto the cable unfortunately. I dragged the cable a good 12″ out each end and can find no markings.
