Prefishing against a cliff Wednesday, always liked to watch the cats come zipping by going to their next fishing hole. Then I heard like a REAL fast cat coming around the corner…. it ended up being a humongous swarm of dark colored bees/hornets. Told my partner to duck as I laid down on the deck just when they arrived. They came about 6 feet above the water. Holy Batman!!!! They disappeared into the woods. Reminded me of the killer bees I seen in Arizona. Anyone know the name of these bees?Help Sam change a battery in his purple boat and in return he buys me a $28.00 wake bait that was killer in practice but could not get a bump on tourney day. Loaning my hammer in my tool box to a guy about 11 PM Wednesday night so he could get his prop off because of a spun hub.Running the motor guide about 30 minutes prior to take off in the staging area. Then I noticed a guy has his boat up on mine near the back. All i said to him was, hmmmm, I think its time you start using your trolling motor buddy. Later a guy runs into the back of my Merc as I am sitting still, with his bow and tells the guy next to him something about bumper baots with a laugh…. ugh…Not knowing that the biggest Warmouth paid $500.00. Was aware of the walleye and stripper payout. Partner caught a few warmouth that would have been in top contention hands down…. missed that in the rules though.. Double Ugh!Having heaviest stringer and big bass for the boats that only weighed in 2 fish… Just missing the $$$ for 3rd place big bass. Triple Ugh…lol! When one of the big storms hit, huge tree feel and partially blocked our driveway to our house at Teal. Just drove through there too, about 3 minutes earlier or so to run to the docks to disconnect my charger from my boat so it would not get smoked by lightning…Met a lot of good people. Good laughs, Good food…. Good times. Heres to the 25th Annual OI next year!Last edited by brewcat on May 17th, 2010, 6:37 pm, edited 1 time in total.
