2011 PII Question

I wish I knew, I unfortunately could not go to the 2011 Dealer meeting, I do recall BCB saying it was on the Premium models, and I wasnt sure if they were standard even on them, Like the Pumas, Cougar FTD ETC. The P2 is a Advantage Elite Package, so it will have more options as standards as say the Sabre FTD. Im sure BCB will be along with a answer. If your going Merc though I wonder if the Smartcrafts would be less $$$$ at approximately $400 if I remember right. Now if your going BRP with a 200 HO then its a no brainer,I believe the Yamaha packages have the Command gauges from Yamaha, Flyswatter Im sure can tell you the differences on those since hes getting the new gauges and taking out the Command links. Smart Craft gauges are no longer available in 2011 and had they been retained for an option, the price would have increased also. They were more than $400 last year as well, more like $600 at retail, plus the extra gauges. This year there are four gauges where SC had only two standard and that is a portion of the cost as well. Though if you add Water Pressure you do probably drop one gauge and there is a charge. Unless you spec all five and add one lower in the radio section of the dash. BCB

To answer your question, Yes. They will be available on the PII as well as any other model. Great looking gauges that work similar to the Smart craft gauges. They do fill the dash and look more finished as well.

I like to be able to open mine all the way, a spring would restrict you to access only from the sides. To me, it gives more room when working in the blige area

To me, it gives more room when working in the blige areaI agree, plus on my Cougar, you can easily slide the back lid off the hinges, making it even easier to access “stuff” in the bilge area.

P2 models are not removable on most models. Though the actuators also get in the way vs. laying the lid back.
