Thank you Rick! That means alot to me…. I really worked hard to put the event together and my satisfaction was hearing how everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves! Thank you for your support and thank you Basscat Cat for having such a great group of people! This was a great success because of you and everyone else!By the way… My son Trae had such a great time and really cannot stop talking about the event and eveyone he met!I will have info posted on the TXBCOE hopefully today. Also, full story and pics coming soon!
I to would like to thank you and your family for putting this event on. As a dealer for BCB it means a lot to us and our customers that someone has the drive to undertake such an event. Cant wait till next year.2 Thumbs up!!!!!!!!Tommy YettsRockwall Marine
Tommy,Man I want you to know that I am so thankfull to be a part of the team! It was alot of work and I think I underestimated that part of it! Rockwall Marine helped make this event possible with your big donation and the awesome plaques that you did! Thank you soooo much!!!!I am excited now for next year and continuing in making this event bigger and bigger each year!
It was a fun tourney! The slot down there about drove my partner and I nuts. We couldnt catch fish under the slot for catching them in the slot. Caught 3 yesterday between 18.5″ and 21.5″ with several being 16-18.5″ fish. Just not programmed to leave big fish to catch small ones, even in a tourney. Fork is a remarkable place and the fish & game folks know how to make a true trophy lake! Thanks again for a great time. It was very evident that you worked hard to pull everything together. Partner and I had a blast at the event.
Thanks jstew! Yes Fork can be tricky when it comes to fishing a tournament! Hard wanting to try and catch little fish! I saw a picture that one of our fellow Basscat Owners took of 2 Bass caught on 1 crankbait at the same time! 11lbs on 2 fish and neither were keepers! Also, another Team said they caight one between 11 and 12 lbs and it was short! Man that lake sucks! LOLThank you for fishing our event!
jstew, I thought that was you I saw as you were leaving and saying good bye to all. Guess I should have spoken up though I thought, surely it is not Jeff. Rick
Rocky,Thanks again for all your hard work brother!!! You know whatever you need for next year is just a phone call away. The highlight of my weekend was getting to sit down with Jan and Ron Pierce for about an hour and just talk about everything under the sun. This is the reason a BassCat is all I will ever run!! It is a big family. And I am glad of my record that I was able to set on Fork!! Zac
Yep, Jeff was very eager to head down last week. I told him he should catch a lot of fish, but he was hoping just to have a good time. Then I talked with him after the weekend and sounded like he did both. But Lake Fork does that to us………..even though I didnt go, a big thanks to all those that put the event on……….96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
