Would appreciate any suggestions on what you discovered is the ultimate height of a slidemaster on an Eyra. I did a search on the board and have found some older info, but am curious to read some newer feedback. Its a 2012, with 250XS, 26 Fury, dual console and would consider it to be on the light side versus tournament loaded. I cant say for certain, but I think at the moment I have the slidemaster a half inch below flush. I do not trim the motor too much, and from reading older posts I believe that is the recommendation for Eyra. Appreciate the assistance.

Ideal for mine seems to be 1/4″ above flush on the plate. I have run it at 1/2″ above and it handled a little better, but lost almost 2mph and a considerable amount of lift with a load. I typically run lighter than more than the average 20 rig. I have a 225 ProXs, seeing 75.5-76 @5900 in the summer and about 78-78.5 @6000 in the winter months. All with a 26P Fury w/ extra holes drilled. The trim angle varies very slightly depending on the load, but typically, its below the 1/4 mark on the gauge.

High enough that steering torque is present but manageable at wot and psi around 20 is what I would shoot for. On my atlas I only vary it from 1 out of 10 to 4 out of 10. Upper 6/10 Of hydraulic travel I never use.C.O.D. Jr. III
