After 6 agonizing weeks my new boat finally arrived.Getting a custom built cover put on.Last edited by CaryHoward on January 17th, 2013, 4:04 am, edited 1 time in total.
Thanks guys. If I could only drive the thing without it trying to throw me out Id be completely satisfied!!! Ive always heard that it is a completely different animal than the Skeeters Ive owned in the past and Id have to learn how to drive it, but I had no idea just how hard it would be.
On your previous boat you used lots of trim, on a BCB 20 hull you use just a little trim and never all of it. The hull has a lot of lift built in and your making it harder by over lifting it.
Cary where do you live? Plenty of us to show you if needed. Took me 50 gallons of gas or so to learn but I had never owned anything other than an express prior to my first Basscat.C.O.D. Jr. III
Great looking rig!Seat time will get you there – in my case 25 hours and still learning. Last year at this time struggled with chine walk at anything over 73. Last Saturday had a little fun starting in the back of a shotgun launch tourney and finally cruising past the last boat still standing at a very comfortable 80.5 – with no sense of chine at all. Stick with it and spend some time with any other BCB guys you can for tips.
Really really sharp. I think that picture angle (3rd picture) is the best one showing off the new style console Ive seen yet. Love that angle. It just looks evil (in a good way) and fast while its sitting still. Kudos to the engineers who came up with the design.
